# Airdrops

> How projects run large-scale airdrops with Magna — from million-wallet claims to TGE distributions — plus examples of branded, white-labeled claim portals.

## Espresso — a million-wallet airdrop

[Espresso](https://www.magna.so/blog-posts/how-espresso-launched-a-million-wallet-airdrop-without-breaking-a-sweat)
is a base-layer network providing fast finality, high-throughput data
availability, and optional decentralized sequencing. For the **\$ESP** token
launch, Espresso needed to distribute to roughly **1 million** eligible wallets —
managing claim portals, audited contracts, and infrastructure at that scale was
outside their core focus and carried real operational and security risk.

Magna provided the full distribution stack:

* Audited smart contracts and a branded claim portal (`claim.espresso.foundation`)
* Wallet connection (up to 8 wallets per user) and X (Twitter) authentication
* Proof-of-humanity verification (via Authena) and Terms of Service / privacy flows
* Integrated staking and delegation at claim time

## DistributeAI — TGE airdrop

[DistributeAI](https://www.magna.so/blog-posts/how-distributeai-streamlined-its-tge-with-magna-airdrop-vesting-solutions)
is an AI-infrastructure platform that used Magna for its **\$DIS** token
generation event on Solana — an airdrop spanning **30K–50K wallets** (\~10% of
supply) alongside investor and team vesting (see the
[Vesting case study](/overview/case-studies/vesting)).

For the airdrop, Magna provided:

* Bulk Merkle upload for the 30K–50K recipients
* Direct-to-exchange claim (e.g. Binance, OKX)
* Post-claim hooks for staking or analytics integrations, plus API/webhook
  embedding into their own front end

The \$DIS airdrop launched on schedule with "zero dev overhead," reclaiming
hundreds of engineering hours for their core product.
