Does Magna ever have access to/control of tokens?

No, the token vesting contracts are always controlled by the project's administrators and their admin wallet.

Tokens are always stored in either the organization’s wallet, the stakeholder’s wallet, or, if utilized, escrow vesting contracts controlled by the organization.

I can't log in

Can I use Magna with Safe or a Multisig?

Yes! We have a native Gnosis Safe integration built into Magna. If you’re interested in using other Multisig providers, please reach out via messenger!

How to use Gnosis Safe with Magna

Configuring WalletConnect With Gnosis and Magna

  1. Navigate to Gnosis and create or join a Safe with the desired threshold and account owners.

  2. Navigate to Magna, click on “Connect Wallet” button and select “WalletConnect”.

  3. Copy the WalletConnect Link that is displayed.

  4. Navigate to the Gnosis app, and select “Use WalletConnect”.

  5. Copy the WalletConnect link from Magna and paste it in the field.

  6. Keep this tab open to maintain the connection and accept new transactions.

  7. Sign subsequent transactions in another SAFE tab.

You should now see that you are “Connected”, which means you are now able to accept transactions within the Gnosis app. After adding the transaction in Gnosis and obtaining any subsequent required signatures, you will be able to confirm execution for the transaction itself.

Troubleshooting Steps:

  1. I’m clicking on Wallet Connect but nothing is happening:

    1. CMD + Option + i (open browser console)

    2. Click "Application" tab

    3. On left hand side click the drop downs for

      1. Local Storage

    4. And right click and delete everything in the tab

  2. I don’t see the Open button for Wallet Connect.

    1. Please close the tab and reopen it

      1. This will reset the session storage that Wallet Connect has set. From here the Get button will disappear and you will see “Open”. Click on that and continue as normal

  3. I see a previous connection in my Wallet Connect App in Safe. Or my wallet connect is automatically connecting to a previous connection.

    1. Click Disconnect

    2. Please close the tab and reopen it to reset and session storage

My claim has been stuck in "processing" for a long time

If your transaction or claim has been loading or stuck in "Processing" for longer than an hour, please follow the below steps:

  1. First, check the chain to see if the transaction has gone through. If it has, it may be still indexing. If it is still indexing after a few minutes, reach out to the Magna team if the below steps don't work.

  2. Clear your cache, refresh your page, and try the action again

  3. Open a new incognito browser and try the action again

I am unable to sign my claim transaction
  1. First, please ensure you are using Chrome or Brave (ideally not Safari or Internet Explorer).

  2. Ensure that your wallet extension is properly logged in.

  3. If you have further issues, please reach out to Magna via Intercom.

Why is my claim transaction failing?

The most common reason is that there is insufficient native tokens in your wallets to sign transactions (e.g. ETH for distributions on Ethereum or Optimism, SOL on Solana, etc.). Please ensure you have enough to cover gas fees in the same wallet that you are receiving tokens in.

If this is not the case, please contact us via Intercom messenger for assistance, specifying that the issue persists despite having sufficient tokens.

I collected my tokens but it's not in my wallet

Wallets often require users to import unlisted tokens as an additional security measure. Please follow the guides from your respective wallet provider:
