How To Add, Modify, or Delete Your Wallet

In order for tokens to be deposited or transferred for an allocation, it needs to have a wallet assigned to it. That wallet can be set by the admin of the project or by the stakeholder directly.

For a particular allocation, you should add a wallet that supports receiving that asset on that chain.

FAQ: Can I use a custodial wallet, or a wallet that can't sign transactions?

Yes. The wallet you set for a particular allocation only needs to be able to receive that asset. The actual transaction to withdraw the assets to that wallet can be signed by a separate wallet (e.g. a hot wallet). Even when the transaction is signed with a separate wallet, the tokens still go to the wallet assigned to the allocation.

Assigning a Wallet to an allocation

  1. Go to your Portfolio tab

  2. Scroll to a particular Allocation

  3. Select the dropdown arrow next to "Wallet:" as shown in the below image

  1. Once the arrow is selected, you will see the options to select from your existing profile wallets or add a new wallet.

    1. Adding multiple wallets to your profile makes it easier to select wallets for future allocations, but only one wallet can be assigned to a particular allocation.

  1. Once the wallet is assigned, ensure that it is selected and displayed in the "Wallet" field.

  2. For Claim-type allocations, this wallet cannot be changed once the allocation is started on-chain. For Direct Transfer-type allocations, the wallet can be changed at any time.

Changing a Wallet for an allocation

To change a wallet for an allocation, select the Wallet dropdown in the Portfolio view and select a different wallet or add a new one.

Note:

  • For Claim-type allocations: Wallets can only be changed if the allocation has not yet been started on-chain. If the allocation has been started, you will need to reach out to the project admin to change the wallet.

  • For Direct Transfer-type allocations: Wallets can always be changed by the recipient.

Viewing wallets in the My Wallets Page

The My Wallet page lists all of the wallets associated with your profile and can be accessed by clicking on your Profile Name in the top left and clicking "My Wallets".
