Withdrawing Tokens

Withdrawing transfers tokens from your Magna Vault to another wallet address. This is the final step after tokens have been unstaked and unlocked.

Prerequisites

Before you can withdraw:

Requirement	Description
Tokens unstaked	Must complete the unstaking process first
Tokens unlocked	Must have reached unlock date per vesting schedule
Transaction window	Proposals can be created 7 days before unlock

Important: Unlike other actions, YOU create the withdrawal transaction (not Magna). Magna signs at unlock time.

Step-by-Step Process

Step 1: Check Withdrawal Availability

Monitor your vault dashboard:

• Unlocked Amount: Tokens available for withdrawal

• Unlock Schedule: When next tokens will unlock

• Unstaked Balance: Confirms you have unstaked tokens ready

Step 2: Create Withdrawal Transaction

When the 7-day window opens before your unlock:

1. Select "Withdraw Unlocked Tokens" from vault actions

2. Select Allocation: Choose the allocation to withdraw from

3. Enter Amount: Input withdrawal amount (click "Max" for maximum)

4. Select Recipient: Choose destination wallet or enter a custom address

5. Click "Withdraw" to create the transaction proposal

EVM-Compatible Wallets Only: Only send to EVM-compatible wallets (MetaMask, Ledger, etc.)

Step 3: Collect Signatures (Before Unlock)

1. Your team signers receive notification of the withdrawal proposal

2. Collect required signatures from your signers before the unlock date

3. Leave room for Magna to add their signature at unlock time

Example: If 3/5 signatures required:

• Get 2 signatures from your team before unlock

• Magna provides the 3rd signature at unlock time

Step 4: Magna Signs at Unlock

When the unlock event occurs:

1. Tokens officially unlock in the smart contract

2. Magna adds their signature to complete the threshold

3. Transaction executes automatically

4. Tokens transfer to your recipient wallet

Scenario: Withdrawing tokens unlocking on February 6, 2025

Important Warnings

Critical Requirements:

• ⚠️ EVM-Compatible Wallets Only

• ⚠️ Must Unstake First — cannot withdraw staked tokens

• ⚠️ Timing is Critical — create transaction within 7-day window

• ⚠️ Irreversible — withdrawals cannot be reversed once executed

Planning Checklist

Before withdrawal:

• ✅ Unstake tokens at least 1 week before unlock date

• ✅ Create withdrawal transaction when 7-day window opens

• ✅ Verify recipient wallet address (double-check!)

• ✅ Collect required signatures from your team before unlock

• ✅ Ensure Magna can sign at unlock time

• ✅ Monitor transaction status until execution

Common Mistakes to Avoid
